This video showcases the many assets I created in my ART285 class at
Glendale Community College. The purpose of this project was to become familiar with kitbashing, the practice of creating a new, custom model or design by combining pieces, parts, or assets from multiple pre-existing commercial kits or prefabricated components.
I followed a few tutorials and made 6 of my own parts in Cinema 4D. Then, I UV unwrapped them, painted all the parts in Substance 3D Painter, and reimported them to Cinema 4D to build my scene. The end goal was to render the video in Redshift; however, my machine couldn't handle it, so the first part of the video is a screen recording. The second part shows the entire scene from multiple angles, and the third part of the video displays my clay and geometry passes.
