This is the full process of creating my short film, Beesy & Vrok. Based on the designs from the Character Morph project, I built a story and fleshed out the characters. To summarize, Beesy annoys Vrok by bumping into him and invading his personal space. At the end, Beesy is apologetic, and they make up. Throughout the project, I followed a Gantt chart and a master checklist I created for myself. The purpose of this project is to show that I can tell meaningful stories through 3D animation. This project highlights my skills in

I started the project by developing 3 mood boards, selecting the second one to use for the logo design.

Next, I developed a storyboard, showing all the key moments and actions of the characters taking place in the story. Then, I drew additional thumbnails to show more detail in Photoshop and put them together in an animatic in After Effects.

Simultaneously, I made model sheets for Beesy and Vrok to use in Cinema 4D.

Next, I modeled the supporting objects: apple and non-apple trees,

After modeling the characters and all the supporting assets and scenes, I built the scenes in separate C4D files, adding sunlight and cameras. Then, I animated the scenes and rendered them in Redshift. Finally, I composited and edited the footage, and I added music and sound effects.
