Expedition Enthusiast Magazine
As outlined on the Travel Magazine Design Process page, this is a travel magazine that I created from scratch. I invented the brand name, picked the colors and fonts, and designed the logo and each page layout. I worked on this magazine for seven weeks from start to finish. To start, I designed the travel magazine brand and did extensive research on real magazines and their layouts. Then, I developed my creative brief, pagination, font style sheets, and grids. During the magazine design process, I made multiple thumbnail sketches and rough sketches for each page layout. After that, I converted every image to TIFF and CMYK in Adobe Photoshop, and I made the final digital executions in Adobe InDesign. Once the magazine was finished, I sent it to Blurb and had it printed. I do not own the photos or article content. I also do not own the brands in my three ads, but I designed them.
