About Me
My name is Celeste, and I am passionate about pursuing a career in the animation and film industry. I graduated in May 2023 with an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Animation and Time-Based Media from Glendale Community College. Currently, I am continuing my studies at Grand Canyon University, where I am working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Design with an emphasis in animation, with an expected graduation in 2026. From a young age, I have been captivated by animation and film. Growing up, I spent countless hours watching animated series on Nickelodeon and Disney, Disney animated films, Studio Ghibli classics, and anime, which sparked my deep interest in the art of storytelling through animation. I have always been particularly drawn to 2D animation, but during my time in college, I developed a broader appreciation for various aspects of filmmaking, including cinematography, editing, and sound design. As a naturally artistic and creative individual, I am constantly inspired by new ideas and excited to bring them to life. My passion for animation drives me to create relatable characters and captivating stories that offer an immersive experience for audiences. I am pursuing a degree in digital design and animation to bring a variety of fascinating narratives to life, providing an escape for anyone who engages with them. Known for my perfectionism, I consistently strive for excellence in all that I do. This dedication is reflected in my strong work ethic, organizational skills, and effective time management. Furthermore, I am professional, respectful, and honest, with a high level of integrity, making me both an effective leader and a valuable team player. I have a wide range of interests, but my ultimate goal is to create—specifically, to bring stories and characters to life in ways that resonate with audiences and inspire them. I am driven by the desire to craft narratives that connect on a deep emotional level. My skill set includes proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, XD, and Audition), as well as 3D tools like Substance 3D Painter, Maxon Cinema 4D, and Unity. Additionally, I am experienced with editing software such as DaVinci Resolve and 2D animation software like OpenToonz. With each project, I strive to push my creative boundaries and make a meaningful contribution to the fields of animation and film.
