To start, I made a creative brief for which I researched the demographic information of my target audience, including sex, socioeconomic status, generational cohorts, race and ethnicity, marital status, children, education, and geographic considerations. I also included emotions and needs this video project would meet in my brief.
Next, I made a schedule for what I would work on each week. For instance, week 1 involved making the creative brief, completing the schedule, and writing the script. Week 2 involved storyboarding and outlining; however, I had to skip those steps to meet the deadline.
Below is the short script I wrote. To save time, I cut out some portions in the final video.

Next, I made a character sheet for the owl in Illustrator. I assembled the parts to make the owl in After Effects.
